No one likes labor intensive jobs.
"Is #AI gonna take my job?" - Is it even a right question to ask? ❌

Let's start with the basics.
Why are we tend to take SHORTCUTS? Simple.
Humans don't like hard work. Fact.
And we will do A LOT to avoid doing it. Fact.
That includes:
- Procrastination to do the job we don't like
- Creation of new machinery & technologies to simplify what we don't want to do
- Delegation to other team members
- Hiring new team members to let them do the annoying work
If we CANNOT do the points above we will
1) Get Bored
2) Get Frustrated
3) Leave to try to find luck somewhere else.
or potentially even being let go for not evolving and delivering.
🙄 So is it really about AI or about our natural human tendencies and instincts?
Here are a few personal examples of short term thinking and following the current trend of "Blame AI for all jobs lost"
I've had 2 bad demo in the entire lifetime of Bonzai AI.
1) With the newly born consultant who called herself "AI Consultant for Marketing teams" and stopped the demo before it started with the words:
"I will not put my knowledge into this AI machine and use AI for my unique training". Really? AI coach not using AI? Am I missing something? 🤔
2) The owner of consulting firm that creates training courses for clients in Monaco. After a demo he told me: "WOW, this is crazy! But Olia, your are taking the job of my entire team that creates content". At that moment I told him I finally create time for your team to spend more time with people coaching and going further that we, as trainers, barely ever had time to do behind all the operations.
But inside of me I felt very sad for him 😔 for 2 main reasons:
1) As a business owner he missed an important part. If he doesn't keep up with technology, his competitors will. And if they will be creating high quality courses 50x times faster with our software who will be hiring him with traditional, old school methods?
2) Creating training content has always been very labor-intensive and in fact, quite boring job after you master the flow and if companies will not automate it (especially when solutions to do so are available) PEOPLE WILL LEAVE regardless. Either for easier jobs or for companies who innovate.
My suggested ratio. Your team members should like 70% of what they do and push to do the 30% that needs to be done. more than 40% of boring or annoying tasks put you in danger zone. 😬
So are you really thinking long term or short term? What are your true intentions?
I want you to succeed. But only you can take your own risks.
You choose.
